Our vintage and very attractive Omega Geneve Quartz, reference 196.0066 features day and date functions. The TV shaped case is large for its era, measuring 36.5mm exc crown, 38.8mm inc crown and 40,8mm lug to lug, a depth of 12.7mm. The 20m heavy gold plating shows little degradation, the gold coloured dial and hands are also in superb condition, the only notable signs of use are to the caseback. A generic quality leather strap and gold tone buckle are fitted. This reference formed part of the international collection, launched 1976. We date this example to c.1978. Neither box nor papers are present, a presentation pouch will be included at point of sale.
