The base of our stunning coffee table is a chrome polished fuel burner from a United States Air Force Pratt and Whitney JT8D-9 jet engine. This jet engine component connects combustors in a turbine, mixing air with the fuel as it enters the combustion chamber, controlling the fuel burning process. The USAF C-22 Heavy transport plane uses this engine. We date this engine component to circa 1970.
