Notes
Our vintage World War 2 era Ebel ATP (Army Trade Pattern/ Army Time Piece) features a 32mm stainless steel case and is fitted to a nato style strap. ATP watches predate the better known Dirty Dozen but were similarly commissioned from 1939 to 1943 to exacting standards, and by a number of manufacturers. The Ebel version was powered by a cal99 manually wound movement and was the only variant to feature 'cathedral hands'. The case back clearly shows the pheon/ broad arrow and the individual ATP issue number. A super military watch which has had a new glass fitted, presented in very good condition given the life it has likely led., and likely destined for a serious military collection.
