Our vintage Rolex Datejust reference 16030 features a 36mm stainless steel case with steel bezel, stainless steel jubilee bracelet. This example also has a desirable black dial. Presented in very good condition, there are some signs of use overall, commensurate with age, the bracelet has some stretch and usage, but plenty of life left. This example comes with inner and outer box (the outer with black dot (so original black dial!), Datejust booklet (1986), Oyster booklet (1985), insurance valuation 1986 , £853, recipe for deposit (£100) 1986, wallet with calendar 1986/7, translation doc, case sticker attached to papers (and sticker with serial), which show it was first sold 11/12/86 by Alexanders of Farnham (Surrey , UK). Alexanders in period revolutionised the part payment/ finance system for watches, advertising in major publications. This is one of the most complete Datejusts we have handled in recent times.
